Asset Inventory Enhancements

Panoptica's Inventory page provides centralized visibility of all your assets in a single, consolidated platform. We are constantly improving and expanding the Asset Inventory, and this time, we’ve done both.

The list of Asset Properties in the pop-up Asset Details drawer now includes Created at, which indicates when the asset first appeared in your cloud platform. This can help you identify new assets that might not belong in your environment, or older assets that trigger new alerts.

At the same time, we’ve expanded Panoptica's asset coverage in all the cloud platforms, to enhance platform visibility and inventory completeness. Just some of the collectors that we’ve added recently include:

  • AWS OpenSearch Service provides capabilities for full-text search, structured search, and analytics over large volumes of data in near real-time.
  • Azure OpenAI Service enables integration of powerful language models from OpenAI into your applications.
  • GCP Organization and GCP Folder in the Google Cloud resource hierarchy.
    • Note that the organization and folder assets will only be collected if you’ve onboarded your organization, and Panoptica has the requisite permissions in the organization scope. If you onboard a specific project, and the organization above was not onboarded, we will not have the permissions to collect this data. See GCP Onboarding - Details for more information.
