Connect GitHub to Panoptica to discover security risks earlier in the development pipeline. Installing our GitHub application automatically integrates your GitHub organization with Panoptica, enabling advanced security scanning of your repositories.
Prerequisite
You must be an Administrator of the GitHub organization you wish to integrate in order to install our GitHub application.
Install application
-
To get started, navigate to Code Security in the Panoptica console UI navigation pane, and click + Add Repository to open a drop-down box listing the SCM providers Panoptica supports.
- Select GitHub to open a new tab to your GitHub account. Log in if prompted.
- The Panoptica GitHub application installation page will be displayed. Select the GitHub organization where you want to install the Panoptica application.
- Choose whether you want to integrate all the repositories in your organization, or only select repositories.
- Click Install & Authorize to complete the installation.
Complete integration
After successful installation, you will be redirected back to the Panoptica console. You will soon start seeing the repositories you selected appear in the Repositories table.
